Hi, I was wondering if anyone has used a HAWKINS Big Boy - 22L aluminium pressure cooker. Either for general cooking or canning. I just saw the elements of my stove through the bottom of my current canner an think it is time for a new one.

This is a pressure cooker which is different from a canner. A canner can also be used for pressure cooking but it's designed for home canning.
I use a Presto Canner, and was lucky to get it new from Ebay in the US when the dollar was at $0.90 mine ended up with postage getting it for approx $200 from memory, which at the time was really cheap and redback didn't have them.
Redback trading have the Presto Canner at the best price I've seen http://www.redbacktrading.com.au
